Height Safety Inspection and Certification
Annual inspections, compliance auditing, and system recertification.
Overview
All height safety systems require regular inspection and certification under both Australian Standards and WHS Regulations. AS/NZS 1891.4 sets the inspection criteria, while the WHS Act places a duty on PCBUs to maintain fall protection systems in safe working order. Our inspectors assess anchor points, static lines, guardrails, walkways, ladders and all associated hardware. Every inspection includes detailed reporting, non compliance identification and recertification documentation.

How often must height safety systems be inspected?
AS/NZS 1891.4 requires height safety equipment to be inspected by a competent person at intervals not exceeding 12 months, or after any event that may have affected the system such as a fall arrest event, severe weather or structural modification to the building.
What happens if my height safety system fails inspection?
If any component fails inspection, we tag it as non-compliant and provide a detailed report identifying the issue and recommended remediation. We can then quote on repair or replacement works to bring the system back to compliance. Non-compliant systems must not be used until remediated.
Can you inspect and certify systems installed by other companies?
Yes. Our inspectors are qualified to assess and certify any height safety system regardless of the original installer. We provide independent, unbiased assessments based on current Australian Standards.
