Static Line Systems
Horizontal life line systems for continuous fall protection across rooftops.
Overview
Static line systems (also known as horizontal life lines) provide continuous fall protection across large roof areas. Workers attach to the cable via a runner and can traverse the entire length of the system without disconnecting. Our static line installations are engineered for multi-user capacity and designed to AS/NZS 1891.2, providing maximum coverage with minimum anchor points.
Capabilities

What is the advantage of a static line over individual anchor points?
Static lines allow workers to traverse large roof areas without disconnecting from the system, significantly improving productivity and safety. They are ideal for roofs requiring frequent maintenance access across long distances, such as air conditioning servicing routes or gutter cleaning paths.
How many workers can use a static line system at once?
Most commercial static line systems are rated for 3 or more simultaneous users, depending on the engineering design. We design each system to accommodate your maximum anticipated number of concurrent roof workers.
Can static lines be installed on curved or multi-level roofs?
Yes. Our systems include corner brackets, intermediate supports, and level changes that allow the static line to follow complex roof geometries. Each system is custom-designed to suit the specific roof profile.
